Winter assistance for Afghan children

Afghan poor families this year suffered not only from poverty and drought but
also from the harsh winter and high prices of commodities too, the conditions of
families with dependent school children are more vulnerable during this cold and
harsh months of winter. ...
To
assist Afghan poor school children and reduce the hardship of their life, HASCO
volunteers recently with the assistance of generous people launched winter
assistance program for Afghan Orphans and needy children, to identify Orphans
and eligible children we asked Afghan education authorities to introduce Orphans
and children belong to the low-income families.
Under HASCO Winter assistance program 21 Orphans and needy school children
received cash assistance, furthermore certain amount of cash has distributed to
the members of three families who have lost their loved one in last December
during a
racket
attack in Kabul 5th district, cash assistance has been
distributed by HASCO representative in Kabul and school authorities to deserved
children.
After distribution process one parent on behalf of others expressed
appreciation and thanks to HASCO Volunteers and those who are helps them for
their timely contribution during this cold winter.
