  Thank you for your kind words of support on the occasion of the award of the Nobel Peace

Prize 2005 to the IAEA and myself.To receive this Prize is an extraordinary honour that is both

humbling and a matter of great pride. The Prize is an encouragement to redouble the Agency's

efforts to make sure that nuclear energy is used exclusively for peaceful purposes, to curb

proliferation and to work towards a world free of nuclear weapons.
