School Child Sponsorship Program The problem of education in Afghanistan is not only the shortage of teachers and destruction of thousands school during two decades of war, the poverty is another main chalange on the way of education in Afghanistan,because of poverty most of Afghan families particularly Afghan new returnees are not able to provide their children with school supplies. With more than 90% of Afghans living in poverty, today, the biggest challenge of Afghan families are to provide their school age children with school material, such as notepads pens pencils, clothes … On the streets of Kabul and other major cities of Afghanistan hundreds school age children are working or begging in order to support their families . (Afghanistan has the highest rates of child labour in the world) To assist Afghan Orphan´s and low income families send their Children in School Help Afghan School Children Organization (HASCO) launches School Children Sponsorship Programe to provide urgent assistance to the Afghan orphans and low Income families, under HASCO School Children Sponsorship Program Afghan orphans and children from low income families receive monthly contribution to cover their school needs.
